On Sunday, March 17th, the SURPASS project, a European-funded initiative promoting sustainable and recyclable plastics, is teaming up with Waste Free Oceans (WFO), an environmental NGO based in Brussels, to organize a city-wide clean-up event in honor of Global Recycling Day.

Plastic waste poses significant threats to public and environmental health, the European Union answers to it by funding projects for research to address these issues. As this is a shared responsibility we raise awareness on this issue by holding this event on Global Recycling Day! We aim to amplify our impact and promote a more sustainable mindset by coming together and enjoying meaningful time for the collective good.

Why Participate?Your involvement will contribute to a cleaner environment and help lead by example in the transition towards a more sustainable future. By joining forces on Global Recycling Day, we aim to amplify our impact and encourage a more sustainable mindset within our community.

How to Participate:Please fill out the individual participation form by clicking the button. The form will be closed once we reach 50 participants, so be sure to secure your spot early. ALL DETAILS FOR THE CLEANUP ARE AVAILABLE ON THE GOOGLE FORM

We look forward to your enthusiastic participation and will share the meeting point details shortly. Stay tuned for updates, and let's make a positive impact together!
